Our ambition is to be the top Pickleball team across Canada; joining forces with the best and brightest athletes who prioritize skill, respect, and furthering the growth of the sport. Chris Kontos

  • Canadian former professional ice hockey player.

  • Kontos is best known for his nine goals in 11 playoff games while he was a member of the Los Angeles Kings and his franchise opening night four-goal performance (with the Tampa Bay Lightning) against that season's Vezina Trophy winner Ed Belfour. Kontos also won Silver in 1994 at the 94 Lillehammer Winter Olympics.

The league - CNPL

The Canadian National Pickleball league stands out with its unique team play and prize money program. It will be the go-to league for top pickle ball athletes as the sport continues to grow in Canada and globally. This will give emerging amateurs the opportunity to compete at a pro level.

  • 8 Teams Across Canada 32 Players

  • 16 men, 16 Women

  • Round Robin format, every team plays each other

  • 1 men's doubles, 1 women’s doubles

  • 2 mixed doubles, singles tiebreaker

  • Player Payouts of $100,000

  • All matches live streamed
